Graham Underhill has been painting and sculpting for more than 50 years. He was born in Kent and now lives in rural Lincolnshire.

He studied at Portsmouth College of Art, Brighton Polytechnic Department of Educational Studies and Birkbeck College, University of London.

He has exhibited widely in solo and group shows in Britain and abroad, illustrated and written books for children and has work in many private and public collections. He also worked for many years in art education.
